Teaching as a Profession prepares students for future positions in the field of Education. The Teaching as a Profession candidates study, apply, and practice the use of current technologies, effective teaching and learning strategies. Candidates will be prepared to practice their skills and knowledge at a variety of elementary and secondary education sites.
Pathway courses include:
Examining the Teaching Profession
Contemporary Issues in Education
Teaching as a Profession Internship
Successful completion of the three Education and Training courses and the End-of-Pathway Assessment allows students the opportunity to earn articulated credit for college toward their degree in Education.
