In 1985, they moved to the metro Atlanta area, where he gained experience and additional continuing education, working in commercial and residential troubleshooting, repair, new equipment commissioning, as well as with control systems and clean room applications. Roy earned his unrestricted Conditioned Air Contractor’s License from the State of Georgia in 1999. He also attended Clayton College & State University’s Fayette Small Business Success School in 2001. In 2010,

Roy and Leah moved to Warner Robins, and he realized the goal of starting his own HVAC business in 2014. He began working as an Adjunct HVAC Instructor at CGTC in 2018. Roy is excited about the opportunity to work with young people in partnership with CGTC and HCCA in the HVAC Dual Enrollment Program. He feels there is a lot of opportunity in the HVAC field for today’s youth to become tomorrow’s best service technicians, field engineers, or business owners. When asked about his new job, he says “I’m excited about sharing my knowledge and experience with the students at HCCA.”
