Rachel Gretchen Lumley is the Cosmetology Instructor at Houston College and Career Academy. Gretchen has been a Master Cosmetologist for 22 years. She is licensed in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Gretchen started her cosmetology career in 2004 after she graduated from Northwest Florida University. After graduation, she was hired at As You Like It Aveda Salon in Mary Esther, FL. Gretchen continued to work there as a cosmetologist until she started her instructor career teaching at the Aveda Institute in Birmingham, AL. After getting married, she moved to Perry, GA. Since moving to Georgia, she became an  instructor for Central Georgia Technical College. She is so excited about her new journey teaching at HCCA and what the future may hold for the cosmetology program.
