Engineering and Technology is about INNOVATION! It is how to apply technology in the solutions to problems facing society. The aim is to solve problems and create opportunities within a student's everyday environment and progressively move into more global issues. 

Jumpstarted by Central Georgia Technical College's (CGTC) Dual Enrollment, Engineering graduates typically pursue postsecondary education in areas such as:

  • Chemical
  • Civil
  • Computer
  • Computer Science
  • Electrical
  • Environmental
  • Industrial
  • Manufacturing
  • Materials
  • Mechanical
  • Nuclear Engineering
  • Engineering Technology

Engineering pathway courses include:

  • Introduction to Engineering Technology
  • Introduction to Robotics
  • Internship

Successful completion of Engineering courses provides the student with a Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) from CGTC.

Engineering at HCCA gives students 9 college credit hours.
