Aircraft Structural Technology

The Aircraft Structural pathway provides technical training to students interested in obtaining aircraft structural assembly skills. This program provides a minimum of training for job market entry and/or upgrading for existing industry personnel and could lead to a continued training for a diploma.

This pathway is taught at Aerospace Training and Sustainment Center, Building One, 1821 Avondale Mill Road, Macon, Georgia 31206

Transportation is not provided.

The courses in the Aircraft Structural pathway include:

  • ASTT 1011 - Basic Blueprint Reading
  • ASTT 1020 - Aircraft Blueprint Reading
  • ASTT 1070 - Aerodynamics
  • ASTT 1030 - Structural Fundamentals

Successful completion of the Aircraft Structural pathway earns 13 college credits. 

Students in the Aircraft Structural pathway are dually enrolled with Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC). 

CGTC Dual Enrollment Requirements

  • Completed Application
  • GPA: 2.0
  • Minimum age: 16
