Mr. Smith moved to Warner Robins, GA in 1994, and attended Warner Robins Middle School from 1994-1996.  At Warner Robins Middle School, he was an honor roll student and was invited to attend the Fort Valley State University Cooperative Developmental Energy Program's Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Academy.  Mr. Smith attended Houston County High School from 1996-2000, where he graduated with honors and achieved the ranking of top 5% of his graduating class.  After high school, Mr. Smith received a full, four year scholarship from the Fort Valley State University Cooperative Developmental Energy Program to attend Fort Valley State University, where he studied engineering.  In 2005 & 2006, Mr. Smith received his associates and bachelors degrees, respectively, in Electronics Engineering Technology.  

After graduation, Mr. Smith worked for AT&T as an outside plant technician.  In 2008, Mr. Smith accepted a call to become an engineering & technology teacher in Monroe County, Ga. where he taught six years. In 2014, Mr. Smith, accepted a call to return to his hometown of Warner Robins, where he accepted an engineering, electronics, & manufacturing instructor position at the Houston County Career Academy.  In 2014, Mr. Smith married his beautiful wife, Mrs. Bridget Smith, who is also an educator in the central Georgia area.  Mr. Smith enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, and enjoying technology-related hobbies, ventures, and projects.
