School Social Worker

James Eustis is a Licensed Master Social Worker for the Houston County Board of Education.  James was born in Farmington Maine, and raised in Boston Massachusetts.  He has two children ages 26 and 29 who followed in his footsteps.  One is a licensed clinical social worker in Panama City, FL, and the other is serving in the USAF as a computer specialist in San Antonio, TX.  James graduated from Peabody Vocational High School, Peabody, MA in 1986.  Right after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force as a nuclear weapons specialist.  James remained in the USAF, and after 24 years, retired at the rank of Major. James has held other jobs in the USAF as an inflight refueling operator, and an air battle manager.  James has traveled all over the world, and has been involved in every US conflict since 1986.  While in the USAF, he earned his AAS degree in aircrew operations from the community college of the Air Force, and his BS in Social Science from Colorado State University.  He was commissioned as an officer at the rank of lieutenant in 2000.   James has been living in Warner Robins GA since 2004.  He earned his Master’s degree in Social Work in 2013.  James completed two internships at Serenity Hospice, and the Houston County Board of Education as a social worker.  James has worked as a mental health crisis team lead social worker for Benchmark Human Services covering a six county area in central GA.  He has also worked as a hospice social worker for Southern Care, Macon GA.  James has seven schools that he is responsible for which include: HCCA, VHS, PHS, FMMS, DPES, DPPS, and ESES. He serves a population of over 4,500 students.
